The Gibb Challenge: a socially competitive 660 kilometre team relay event raising community awareness and money for charity.
Principal Beneficiary in 2018 is the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
Form a team of between 2-6 riders and raise at least $1000 each before joining our celebration of fat tyre fellowship along the Kimberley super-highway of the Gibb River Road.
Once you’ve raised your $1000 qualifying amount, you might want to nominate a second registered charity to share your fund-raising efforts or just keep shaking the tin for RFDS.
The Gibb Challenge will lead you on a life defining adventure from the deep port Kimberley town of Derby to the world acclaimed million acres El Questro Wilderness Park. Overnight camping at Imintji Community, Mount Elizabeth Station, Ellenbrae Station, Home Valley Station and El Questro.
Rider registration costs are $600 (including GST and registration refund insurance) and include all your meals, camping, wilderness park fees and an event riding jersey. There's no better value mountain bike event in Australia! Non-riding support team members are also $600 (including GST and registration ) with the same catering and camping benefits but with an event t-shirt. Accompanying children under 14 years are FREE.
If you want to be part of this amazing community event but don't want to ride, how about joining us as a Bloody Heroic Volunteer? Your time and effort are so valued, there's no cost for your participation.
The Gibb Challenge will again feature as part of the Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster's calendar of events. See www.ordvalleymuster.com.au for further details.
