Cancellation Policy

Terms & Conditions

BOOKINGS: Bookings are only confirmed when fully paid; and signed Booking Form and Terms & Conditions are received by Outback Camp Tours.

20% deposit is to be paid within 7 days of booking. Balance payable no later than 30 days prior to departure. (Unless booking made less than 30 days before departure balance payable immediately) CANCELLATION POLICY: •Any cancellations are to be in writing to Outback Camp Tours •The deposit is non refundable for all cancellations. •30 – 15 days prior to departure 50% of tour fee payable •14 days or less 100% or tour fee payable

TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance is strongly recommended to cover against unforseen cancellation costs lost luggage/personal items illness/injury. Outback Camp Tours accepts no liability for any unforseen costs of an uninsured passenger including cancellation injury illness or loss of luggage/personal items. A signed liability waiver by traveller will be part of procedure before departure.

GENERAL
Passengers warrant their health and physical mobility is adequate to undertake the tour booked. Passengers acknowledge tour is “hands on” assisting with camp set up meal preparations cooking & and cleanup. Smoking is not permitted on the bus and smokers agree not to dispose of butts on the ground as this is a danger to wildlife. Passengers agree to adhere to the licensing restriction of only non alcoholic beverages permitted to be consumed on the bus. Luggage is restricted to 1.5kg of hand luggage and no more than 10kg of additional luggage.

CONDUCT
The operator reserves the right to refuse entry or remove from vehicle anyone whose behaviour jeopardises the safety security and comfort of other passengers. Passengers agree to abide by the emergency procedures detailed before departure should the occasion arise. Passengers agree to endeavour at all times to leave no “footprint” on areas visited. Passenger agrees any damage or loss to equipment due to neglect or misuse; that replacement/repair will be at passengers cost.

ADVERSE WEATHER/HAZARDS/BREAKDOWNS
Outback Camp Tours gives its advice on journey times in good faith. However in the event of a breakdown climatic event or other hazards beyond reasonable control of operator journeys may take longer than predicted and Outback Camp Tours reserves the right to bypass advertised destinations in the interests of safety or meeting return deadline; with no refunds applicable. Outback Camp tours reserves the right to replace the vehicle with another to continue the tour.

CONVEYANCE OF ANIMALS
No animal may be carried on the vehicle. ACCOMODATION
All accommodation is camping with option to upgrade on availability if desired. Where ever possible camp will be set up in an area with shower and toilet facilities but some camps may be without facilities in remote areas.

EXTRA COSTS
•Food is purchased individually OR as a group and costs shared. Suitable for people with special dietary requirements. Allow approx. $90 per week depending on individual needs. •National Park/Caravan Park fees total approx. $280 for full Perth-Darwin/Darwin-Perth journey from $40 for sections. •Any optional activities/tours

COMPLAINTS
Any complaints in respect of any aspects of the tour should be made in writing to Outback Camp Tours within 14 days of return.
