Yane has lived his whole life in the small town of Broome. Despite the regional town being so remote and having little to no access to the photographic world, he picked up a camera at a young age and was self taught in the kind of way you only get through experience and experimentation.

In dedication to his practice, its not uncommon for Yane to spend days in the wilderness reaching the Kimberley’s unreachable locations. Yane’s perseverance has paid off and has since become an accredited award winning photographer with the AIPP’ and taking out the prestige’s title of Australian Landscape Photographer of the Year in 2017 and WA Commercial Photographer of the Year for 2016 and 2017. Yane has retained his deep appreciation and respect for the land, holding a strong sense of its wealth of diversity and sense of freedom.

Yane Sotiroski’s photography is available for purchase online in a variety of products. Each image, perfectly printed and true to the dramatic colours of the pristine Kimberley. Shipping is free anywhere in Australia and all products are available to be shipped internationally by request. To match his award winning standard of photography, all products are crafted with the highest quality materials and expertise.

The Kimberley is a remote sacred landscape, incomparable to anywhere else in the world. Its both dangerous, beautiful and almost unreachable. From its vast red desert to its blue pristine coast, Its diversity captures many. Including born and bred local photographer, Yane. Yane’s images showcase the the rugged beauty of the Kimberley at its finest.
