Lustre: Pearling and Australia

Lustre is a free exhibition on display 23 August – 26 September 2021.

Lustre: Pearling & Australia delves into the gritty human story of pearling, weaving together intersecting strands of Aboriginal, Asian and European histories to reveal insights into one of Australia’s oldest industries.

MON- FRIDAY 9:30AM - 4PM
SAT & SUN 10AM-2PM

Every Wednesday Lunchtime Sessions will feature real stories and interesting conversations from 12 - 1:30pm. Details below.

Wednesdays 12 - 1:30pm

Each week, come and listen to the people who have lived pearling — pearlers, divers, seeders, musicians, and traditional owners.
