Finally, you will be given an introduction to pearl grading and value and have ample time to read the “Time Line Wall” on the history of Broome Pearls. View one of the largest and rarest pearls in the world.
Discover the beauty, culture and history of Broome’s Roebuck Bay foreshore, by taking an air conditioned coach tour of Yawuru’s Jetty to Jetty Trail, from the historic Streeter’s Jetty in Chinatown to the site of Broome’s Old Jetty at Town Beach.
Travel through the heart of Yawuru country and learn more about the cultural landscape of Yawuru people. Get a taste of the romance, adversity and that defined Broome’s pearling era.

Malcolm Douglas Crocodile Park: Enter another world through the jaws of a giant saltwater crocodile. The famous daily feeding tour showcases some of the largest crocodiles on display in Australia. The park is home to breathtakingly beautiful birdlife, a cassowary, kangaroos, euros, jabirus, snakes and lizards. Very knowledgeable handlers will lead you around the park sharing fascinating information about some of the only remaining dinosaurs.
12 Mile Bird Park: Over 600 birds await you at this lovely amazing park. Take a walk along tidy trails that weave their way between aviaries, shaded alcoves with timber seats and a Barramundi lake complete with waterfall. The birds themselves range from tiny, beautifully coloured Gouldian finches to two majestic blue and gold macaws.
The Mango Place: The peace and tranquility of this property greets you on arrival. It is an oasis of endless delights. Sit under the shade trees to enjoy an extensive array of mango products. Indulge in mango wine, sip a truly delicious mango smoothie or enjoy freshly ground coffee with a slice of mango liqueur cake in the tropical surrounds. A range of The Mango Place products are available, from homemade ice-cream to chutney and sauces — taste the different creations!
In an event that you cancel your booking. Broome Transit reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee as follows:
Bookings cancelled between 48 hours prior to travel and the day of travel but not on the day of travel: up to 50% of the value of the booking.
Bookings cancelled on the day of travel: up to 100% of the value of the booking.
In addition to any cancellation fee charged by Broome Transit you will also be responsible for payment of any charges levied by suppliers in respect of the cancelled booking. In all cases the total fee charged will not exceed the value of the booking.
