Goolarri Media Enterprises - A Taste of Broome
In its 11th year, A Taste of Broome is set to return in 2023, from Thursday 24th August until Saturday 26th August 2023, with an epic three-day cultural showcase festival that will delight your senses and entertain the entire family. Festival goers will get a real taste of Broome’s best local food, culture, art, music, theatre and film across three main events in addition to a series of smaller and more intimate events created for an all-inclusive Broome experience. Events will evoke an era long gone, through the sights, sounds and smells of the past. Celebrate Broome’s identity and meet the locals as they share their history and heritage with you during this unique festival that cannot be experienced anywhere else but right here in Broome.

Goolarri Media Enterprises is a fully owned Indigenous company through the Broome Aboriginal Media Association which was launched in 1991 after ten years of community discussion about the need for an Indigenous media service for the rapidly growing town of Broome.
Goolarri Media assists the development of both Indigenous and non-Indigenous media and communications in the Kimberley region, assists in the development and ongoing enhancement of Indigenous musicians throughout Western Australia, creates and produces valuable event activities for the entire community and delivers nationally recognised training across all sectors of the organisation.
Through dedication, passion and a vision for the future Goolarri Media Enterprises has grown in its capacity to become one of Australia’s most successful and diverse Indigenous media and communications organisations ensuring it remains at the forefront of digitising culture and community.
