Camel Rides

It doesn't get more iconic that a camel ride along the beautiful Cable Beach in Broome. Cable Beach is 22kms of pristine white sand and clear tropical waters and a popular way to enjoy the views is from the top of a camel. Broome has three camel tour operators, each with a different colour blankets. Red Sun Camels is famously red. Broome Camel Safaris have the blue blankets and Cable Beach Camels use the gold blankets. Each and every camel is a character and all tour experiences are sure to leave you with wonderful memories.

We have three tour operators offering camel ride options including the famous sunset ride, morning rides are available seasonally and the slightly shorter pre-sunset rides. The pre-sunset rides are a great option for those with little ones or happy to enjoy an earlier departure time.

Depending on the colours of the camel blankets, you can choose from a red camel train, blue camel train or the yellow camel train.

IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR CAMEL RIDES
Please be advised that there is a 90kg individual weight limit that is being enforced by all camel ride operators. Please do not make a booking online if your individual weight is 90kg or over. If unsure about weight limits (or are close to or over 90kgs), rather than booking incorrectly, please send an email to [email protected] with the details of each guest, date, each passenger weight and we will provide information to you or give us a call on 08 9195 2200
