Broome Bird Observatory: Artist in Residence - Sandy McKendrick
Sandy McKendrick, a respected multidisciplinary artist, and theatre designer, is joining us at the Broome Bird Observatory as our Artist in Residence for the first three weeks of July. Sandy will be running a series of creative art workshops and open studio sessions inspired by the incredible birdlife and natural beauty of Roebuck Bay. Her practice focuses on sculpture, print making, and participatory arts, with a strong emphasis on nature-based storytelling.
This initiative is part of our ongoing efforts to connect the public with the ecological values of Roebuck Bay through accessible, hands-on experiences.
