Cable Beach Comes Alive - Opening Party

Join the Shire of Broome on Friday, 6 June 2025 from 4pm to 8pm for Cable Beach Comes Alive (behind the Broome Surf Life Saving Club).

The heart of Broome’s iconic coastline has had a major glow-up – and we’re throwing a party to celebrate! Join us for Cable Beach Comes Alive, a free community event marking the official opening of Stage 1 of the Walmanyjun Cable Beach Redevelopment.

Enjoy live music, local food trucks, face painting, skateboarding demos, interactive games, basketball shootouts and more – perfect for all ages.

You’ll also get to explore the upgraded Cable Beach precinct, including the brand-new Surf Club facilities, landscaped pathways, a new exercise area and a disability-accessible ramp to the beach. Extra parking available at Old Croc Park, just a short walk from the fun.
