Derby West Kimberley Arts Forum: A place to get inspired and meet great people who speak your language.
The Derby West Kimberley Arts forum is about capacity building, developing skills with a wide range of artists and arts workers who work in remote and very remote areas. It is important that arts organisations and independent artists are up to date on the latest developments in the sector.
Some of the topics we will deal with are
• Working with AI (Artificial Intelligence) which is having a huge impact of Artist livelihoods.
• Artists who work in trauma informed practice
• Pitching ones work to the marketplace
• Working with philanthropic organisations
• Getting started in the film industry
• How to Avoid burnout
• How can we work better - not harder.
• Getting inspired by meeting other awesome people who work in the Arts sector in the region.
