Chinatown Christmas Party & Carols

Christmas is just around the corner with the Shire of Broome's Chinatown Christmas Party and Carols happening on Friday 2nd December 2022 along Carnarvon Street and Male Oval.

CHRISTMAS PARTY 4:00PM - 6:30PM

From 4pm, Carnarvon Street will fill with market stalls, food vendors and loads of free kids’ activities such as sensory play, bubble land, letters to Santa and more. Generous local community groups are getting involved too. The Broome Lions Club are running their famous train from Sun Pictures, and our very own Broome Public Library staff will be reading storybooks with Santa. Additionally, the main stage on Male Oval will feature a program packed full of local dancers, performers, and musicians. Chinatown traders are also getting into the Christmas spirit by staying open late and facilitating their own festive activations like face painting, gift wrapping and colouring in
competitions.

CHRISTMAS CAROLS FROM 6:30PM - 8:00PM

From 6:30pm, the Male Oval main stage will light up for carols by candlelight. Get cosy, bring a picnic blanket, and grab some dinner from your favourite Broome food vendors.

Merry Christmas from the Shire of Broome!

Thank you to event supporters Shire of Broome, INPEX Australia & Broome Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc.
