Join us for an unforgettable evening of culture, creativity and connection at Guwarri – Town Beach as we celebrate Reconciliation Week alongside Broome’s iconic Staircase to the Moon Markets. Experience a powerful Welcome and Smoking Ceremony overlooking the bay, bringing community together in a moment of reflection, celebration and unity. Explore a vibrant Indigenous Art and Crafts Market proudly supported by the Shire, showcasing the incredible talent of Indigenous artists, Kafta designers and creative practitioners across fashion, visual art, crafts, music and performance. The evening will feature a special Kafta 2026 fashion photoshoot and mini runway capsule, celebrating contemporary Indigenous fashion and storytelling through design. Enjoy live performances throughout the night, including traditional and contemporary dance by the dynamic Burrb Wanggarru Ngurlu Dance Crew, alongside live music performances from Tye Jay and The Seaside Drifters. This is a celebration of culture, creativity and community, honouring tradition while embracing the future through art, music, fashion and shared experiences.
