Voices of Broome: Doug and Margaret Fong

Meet Broome's Doug and Margaret Fong. Doug’s family is deeply rooted in Broome and its multi-cultural history. Margaret’s family ties are with the Eastern Goldfields. They met through their teaching careers, working in schools across the south-west, always hoping to get a post back to Broome. After 62 years of marriage, they are enjoying retirement in their beloved Broome. Tuesday 16th June 2026 5pm to 6.30pm at the Broome Public Library.
