Bidyadanga’s fourth annual arts and culture celebration ‘Desert To The Sea’ is back, bigger and better! The 2026 festival has been curated to bring leading, and upcoming, Bidyadanga musicians together to perform alongside some of Australia’s deadliest artists.This one of a kind event invites the whole Kimberley community for a family friendly day and night of music, art, food and Bidgy culture. Bidgy Fest Desert to the Sea is back in 2026 for our biggest year yet! Teaming up with the good folk at Goolarri Media to deliver an outdoor music event that has been long missing from the Broome Dry Season Calendar.
We deliver a community only event for the Bidyadanga community during the week with all artists experiencing a cultural exchange. We then bring the show into Broome to create space for Bidgy and touring artists to come together on stage to share in the cumulative joy of performing as a travelling family. This event is as much about the sharing of stories, aspirations and connections as it is about the music. Music is a universal language that we can all understand together.
Bidgy Fest is a family event with Food Trucks and entertainment for all to enjoy. Please be mindful of little ears with acts later in the night.
Alcohol: The Gimme Gimme bar will be open. ID will be required to enter the Gimme and receive a wrist band. The bar area is strictly 18 years and over - no exceptions.
We cannot wait to share our festival with you. A one-of-its-kind event in Broome that is paving the way for young Bidgy musicians, and welcoming touring musicians who share our values.
