Broome Marlin Cup - Fishing Competition

3 days fishing targeting Marlin only. This tournament was developed to learn more about the marlin fishery off Broome and encourages anglers to share information about the fish they tag and release. Event organisers provide a chart with all previous years catches so teams can use this to help find the fish.

Cup schedule:
3rd of September is compulsory briefing night
4th is a layover day
5th, 6th and 7th are normal fishing days
8th is presentation night.

The event is focused on the team rather than individual anglers as Marlin fishing generally requires a team to work together to enable successful captures. There are some great prizes up for grabs.
