The Broome Marlin Cup Fishing Competition will be held in Broome from 3rd - 7th September 2026. Broome is growing in the Marlin fishery - join us to see what it's all about! For all boat sizes and all ages. Broome Marlin Cup schedule: 3rd of September is compulsory briefing night, 4th is a layover day, 5th and 6th are normal fishing days, 7th is presentation night. The Broome Fishing Club was established to maintain and conduct a club for the recreational , social, sporting, cultural, and community dimensions of fishing. We hold Club competitions and events that promote sustainable fishing practices and encourage anglers of all ages who are interested in fishing to participate. The Club is family friendly and all inclusive. Our bar is open Friday from 4pm, Saturday and Sunday from 12pm until close. Hours may be shortened during wet season.
