Vivienne McDermott Exhibition at Redbill Studio Gallery

A Solo Exhibition of recent printmaking by Vivienne McDermott at Redbill Studio Gallery. OPENING NIGHT 4th September, 5:30PM - 7:30PM. Exhibition Runs 5th-17th September 2026. Derived from the landscape, this body of work reflects on our relationship with the natural world and the importance of caring for Country. Through fundamental dualities—tradition and progress, nature and nurture, order and chaos, it explores the tensions and complexities of contemporary life. Working across monotype, silkscreen, and reduction linoprint techniques, McDermott employs colour intuitively to create depth, movement, and complexity within each work. The resulting prints invite viewers into dynamic visual spaces where place, time, movement, and feeling coexist, encouraging a deeper consideration of our connection to the environment and our responsibility as custodians of the world around us.
