Named Number One of Australian Traveller’s “14 Incredible Tours of Broome” in 2024, we are proud to be Broome’s only tour operator featured at this national level — highlighting our commitment to excellence, creativity and community-focused tourism.
Our commitment to sharing Broome goes beyond our tours — we’re actively engaged in shaping and supporting the future of tourism in the region. As proud members of the Broome Visitor Centre (BVC), SKAL International, Broome Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and ATEC (Australian Tourism Export Council), we’re deeply connected to the local and national tourism community. Malcolm Douglas Crocodile Park Experience Jaws & Claws Adventure
Duration: 2.5 hours | 2:15 pm – 4:45 pm
Adult $80 | Senior $75 | Child (5 – 15yrs) $35 | Infants Free
Get up close and personal with some of Australia’s most awe-inspiring apex predators on this unforgettable afternoon tour to the iconic Malcolm Douglas Crocodile Park — a true Broome bucket-list experience.
Step through the towering jaws of a giant croc and into a sanctuary unlike any other, just 20 minutes from town. More than just a tourist attraction, this park is a dedicated wildlife refuge and conservation facility established by legendary Australian adventurer, filmmaker and crocodile conservationist, Malcolm Douglas.
Originally a crocodile hunter in the 1960s, Malcolm Douglas underwent a powerful transformation, becoming one of Australia’s most passionate voices for the protection of crocodiles and our native wildlife. He founded the park in 1983 with just 13 crocodiles and a mission: to shift the public’s perception of these ancient animals from fear to fascination and understanding.
Today, the park is home to over 2,500 crocodiles, including rescued rogue crocs that couldn’t be returned to the wild. It stands as a testament to Malcolm’s legacy — educating visitors about crocodile biology, behaviour, and their essential role in Australia’s ecosystems, while providing a safe haven for animals that would otherwise face euthanasia.
Jaws & Claws Tour Highlights:
- Guided educational experience through Malcolm Douglas Crocodile Park
- Exclusive Rogue Crocodile Alley Tour — hear the stories behind some of the park’s most notorious residents
- Learn about the life and legacy of Malcolm Douglas, his 50+ wildlife documentaries, and his impact on conservation across Australia
- Safe, air-conditioned transfers to and from your Broome accommodation or the Visitor Centre
- Airport drop-off available with luggage storage option
What’s Included:
- Park entry fees
- Professional local guide with expert knowledge
- Comfortable, air-conditioned transport
