Broome Historical Walking tour” — A one kilometre guided walking tour. The tour is led by tour guide, Wil Thomas, a passionate Broome history enthusiast and veteran tour guide of 9 years.

Our journey begins with the bombing of Broome in march 1942 and winds back to the arrival in the Kimbereley of Pearling in the 1890’s. Departing Town Beach reserve, Monday to Friday, 9;15 am, finishing at The Broome Museum. The tour is focussed around the history of Broome’s past. Using photographs taken in the hey day as a window to that wild and romantic era, the tour visits exact locations the images were taken, comparing the changes to todays vista. It discusses the romance, the stories, the intrigue and the facts surrounding the quest for the elusive Oyster in the worlds most remote frontier town…
