Update
Dear Fitzroy Valley Community, We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support throughout the years, as patrons of our businesses in town. It is through your patronage that we are able to give back to our community via the Leedal Foundation. The floods of January 2023 dealt a significant blow to our community, impacting businesses and residents alike.
We are pleased that the new Fitzroy Crossing bridge has been erected, and overdue repairs and upgrades to the Fitzroy River Lodge, particularly our kitchen, are underway.
Therefore, we wish to inform you that the Fitzroy River Lodge kitchen will undergo temporary closure for 12 days to facilitate long-overdue renovations. Originally scheduled for January 2023 and subsequently postponed to March, delays in the completion of our new Boab rooms and kitchen have led to rescheduling for later next May.
Commencing May 12th, the Fitzroy River Lodge kitchen will be closed for 10 to 12 days. However, we will operate on a limited basis, serving in-house guests and providing take-away food services for everyone.
We kindly ask for your patience and understanding during this period. While we strive to minimize disruptions, and any unforeseen challenges that may arise.
During this time, the Crossing Inn Pub will remain open to serve the local community.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused and assure you that our team is working diligently to expedite the renovations.
