My name is Hugh Brown and I have been pho­tograph­ing the Kim­ber­ley and Pil­bara night skies for almost 30 years.

I have pub­lished nine best sell­ing cof­fee table books and for much of the past 20 years have been work­ing on projects in some of the world’s most dif­fi­cult and remote places. I have worked in over 30 countries.

I have held major pho­to­graph­ic exhi­bi­tions in Chi­na (Shang­hai, Hangzhou and Ning­bo) and Africa. In 2020 I was named one of the top 100 cor­po­rate social respon­si­bil­i­ty influ­encers by Assent Com­pli­ance in Cana­da for my work pro­mot­ing and doc­u­ment­ing the lives of some of the world’s poor­est miners.

The Kim­ber­ley is my home and pas­sion. Which is why my last book on the region was called The Kim­ber­ley — Tier­ra De Mi Alma — Land of My Soul.
