RAC Mon­key Mia Dol­phin Resort in the heart of West­ern Australia’s Shark Bay is a place where you can expe­ri­ence the mys­ti­cal world of wild dolphins.

RAC Mon­key Mia Dol­phin Resort is sit­u­at­ed with­in the remark­able Shark Bay World Her­itage Area in WA’s North West. Meet the friend­ly res­i­dent Mon­key Mia Dol­phins, dis­cov­er breath­tak­ing snorkelling spots, or just take a moment to relax with the sand between your toes at pris­tine beach­es only a few steps away from the resort. 

Choose from a range of accom­mo­da­tion options includ­ing two and three bed­room beach front vil­las, ocean and gar­den view rooms, fam­i­ly stu­dio, bud­get room options as well as pow­ered ensuite sites, pow­ered sites, unpow­ered sites. Pet friend­ly sites available.

As the only accom­mo­da­tion option in Mon­key Mia, our resort has every­thing you need to make the most of your hol­i­day, with a wide range of fea­tures and facilities. 

Enjoy absolute beach­front access, a swim in our resort-style pools, or sip on a drink and take in the stun­ning views of Shark Bay from The Boughshed Restau­rant and Mon­key Bar. 

The park has every­thing to keep the kids enter­tained with a kids wad­ing pool, two swim­ming pools, giant out­door chess, kids cart hire, a play­ground, a recre­ation room and mini golf. 

There is a tour desk at for you to book your next adven­ture and the resort offers kayak hire for you to have an adven­ture of your own. 

Get­ting here is easy with an Elec­tric Vehi­cle charg­ing sta­tion and an air­port shut­tle (sur­charge does apply). 

Plus, don’t for­get to pick up a a sou­venire to remem­ber your stay from the sou­venir and gift shop locat­ed at the resort. 

There is also a fish clean­ing sta­tion, camp kitchen, guest laun­dry and gen­er­al store. 

We have pet-friend­ly pow­ered sites avail­able. Pets must be includ­ed in your book­ing, which you can do by adding them to the guest drop down when you place your book­ing online.

Pets must be kept on a lead at all times while in the park and must not be left unat­tend­ed. There are some shared spaces where pets are not allowed, includ­ing the pool, recre­ation room and camp kitchens.

              Garden View Room

              Our Gar­den View Rooms face our trop­i­cal gar­dens, cre­at­ing a pre­mier escape that is ide­al for both cou­ples and small fam­i­lies. All offer mod­ern, air-con­di­tioned com­fort, as well as a queen bed and sin­gle bed with the option to request an addi­tion­al trun­dle bed. Accom­mo­da­tion facil­i­ties include free Wi-Fi, a bath­room, kitch­enette with a small fridge and tea, cof­fee and toast-mak­ing facil­i­ties, a TV with in-house movies, plus a four-per­son din­ing set­ting.                 Powered Site

                Locat­ed on hard ground just a short stroll from the beach, our Pow­ered Sites are ide­al for car­a­vans, motorhomes, camper­vans, and tents. Each pow­ered site has access to 240 volt­s/15-amp pow­er, fresh water and a sul­lage point for grey water. Heavy duty screw in pegs and drill required. Drills are avail­able from Recep­tion dur­ing office hours. BYO shade is rec­om­mend­ed. All sites are with­in a short walk of our camp­ing facil­i­ties, includ­ing camp kitchen, BBQ areas, shared ameni­ties block, laun­dry, and recre­ation room. You will also find our resort facil­i­ties close by, with our swim­ming pool, wad­ing pool, a restau­rant and bar, mini golf course and more all offer­ing hours of fun and enter­tain­ment. You are also wel­come to bring your four-legged friend, with a max­i­mum of 2 dogs allowed per site. Please note that pets must be super­vised and kept on a lead at all times, and there are some shared areas pets aren’t allowed.

                  Superior Beach View Room

                  With unre­strict­ed beach access and stun­ning ocean views, our Supe­ri­or Beach View Room is ide­al for cou­ples or a small fam­i­ly. Our beach view room accom­mo­da­tion is a stu­dio style room con­tain­ing a king bed and a sin­gle bed. This pre­mier fam­i­ly-friend­ly accom­mo­da­tion includes a kitch­enette with a microwave, small fridge and tea and cof­fee-mak­ing facil­i­ties, open plan liv­ing and din­ing with a TV and in-house movies, free Wi-Fi, and a bath­room. You will also be able to enjoy your own pri­vate veran­da with built-in BBQ facil­i­ties and out­door dining.

                    Unpowered Camping Site

                    Our Unpow­ered Sites are made for tents and camper­vans only. All towed vehi­cles, includ­ing camper trail­ers and car­a­vans, must use our larg­er pow­ered sites. All sites are with­in a short walk of our large range of camp­ing facil­i­ties, includ­ing our camp kitchen, BBQ areas, laun­dry, shared ameni­ties block and recre­ation room. Our wider resort facil­i­ties are also yours to enjoy, with our swim­ming pool, wad­ing pool, restau­rant and bar, mini golf course and more all offer­ing hours of fun and enter­tain­ment. The beach is also just a short walk away from your camp­site. You’re also wel­come to bring your four-legged friend, with a max­i­mum of 2 dogs allowed per site.
