‘The Broome Race Round’ attracts punters from all over Australia who come to experience country racing at its best at one of the most unique race clubs in Australia.

The Broome Turf Club is carved out of bushland at picturesque Gantheaume Point, just a stone's throw from world-famous Cable Beach. This idyllic location perched on the Broome peninsula is surrounded by the Indian Ocean and benefits from the constant cool breezes which are a welcome relief in the hot and humid climate of the Kimberley.

The Broome Race Round occurs over the peak tourist months of May, June, July and August culminating in the highly anticipated Broome Cup Week. Fever pitched excitement precedes each race throughout the day, with punters being entertained by live music, local performers and fashion on the field finals. The post race party extends well into the evening with two up a draw card for many race goers. Be sure not to miss this unique racing experience!

General Admission ladies FREE, General Admission gents $25, Day members $75 *Please note this is a 18 y.o plus event.

Race 9 - Saturday 13 AUGUST 2022 - Broome Cup
General Admission $35, Day Members $95 *Please note this is a 18 y.o plus event.

Day memberships, and general admission passes available every race meeting, both are available for purchase on the day from our main entrance gates and the kiosk. Please note day members or general admission tickets are not available to pre-purchase.

Doors Close 5:30 pm
Free Shuttle bus service from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm back to Cable Beach & Chinatown
