Sam­ple 10 Night Itin­er­ary: Day 1: Board­ing We start your Kim­ber­ley adven­ture with a 2‑hour air-con­di­tioned coach trip from Broome to Cygnet Bay. Sit back and relax as you learn about the sur­round­ing coun­try, cul­ture and his­to­ry from our expe­ri­enced guide, and enjoy a delight­ful morn­ing tea as you vis­it the famous Bea­gle Bay Church. Board ves­sel at Cygnet Bay and enjoy the after­noon cruise out across King Sound with sun­set drinks on the bow as we steam into the evening across the rac­ing tide. Day 2: Yampi Sound to Tal­bot Bay (Hor­i­zon­tal Falls) We’ll start our day with a refresh­ing swim in a secret fresh­wa­ter site, or maybe try our luck at catch­ing a fish, before tak­ing a scenic cruise into Tal­bot Bay to view and expe­ri­ence one of the ​‘great­est won­ders of the nat­ur­al world’, the Hor­i­zon­tal Water­falls. Depart­ing on the tide for a sun­set cruise out into the expanse of the Buc­ca­neer Arch­i­pel­ago. Day 3: Col­lier Bay Wake up in Col­lier Bay — home of the largest tides in the South­ern Hemi­sphere – a tru­ly amaz­ing spec­ta­cle to behold. The day can be spent explor­ing one of sev­er­al creek sys­tems, or if you’re feel­ing more adven­tur­ous a climb and swim in a spec­tac­u­lar fresh­wa­ter oasis. Leav­ing on the tide, we set sail north into Doubt­ful Bay, and the regions of dra­mat­ic red escarp­ments, and tidal reefs. Day 4: Doubt­ful Bay/​Montgomery Reef Doubt­ful Bay and the options are aplen­ty! Tides will dic­tate our dai­ly activ­i­ties, but there will be the oppor­tu­ni­ty to throw in a line, maybe try your hand at some mud crab­bing, as well as numer­ous swim­ming holes and water­falls to vis­it. Spend the after­noon observ­ing the phe­nom­e­na that is the tru­ly amaz­ing Mont­gomery Reef sys­tem. Watch as the reef lit­er­al­ly ris­es from the ocean on the drop­ping tide and reveals all its hid­den won­ders- a day you will tru­ly remem­ber. Day 5: Cam­den Har­bour to Hanover Bay Start the day vis­it­ing Cam­den Har­bour and Sheep island- the failed set­tle­ment attempt by ear­ly Euro­peans. Then we’ll cruise through Port George tak­ing in some Pearling his­to­ry before arriv­ing at Hanover Bay for an after­noon excur­sion, fish and sun­set beach walk. Day 6: Prince Regent Riv­er Wake up to the grandeur of your sur­rounds as we cruise deep into the Prince Regent Riv­er. Then its’ out in the ten­ders to get some pho­tos, and a lit­tle dip under the majes­tic King Cas­cade Falls. There is also anoth­er oppor­tu­ni­ty to enjoy a fresh­wa­ter swim in one of the crys­tal-clear tiered pools at the top. Back on board for a sun­set cruise back out of the riv­er with drinks on the bow to reflect on this incred­i­ble place. Day 7: Careen­ing Bay to Hunter Riv­er Start the day with an ear­ly walk to the his­toric ​‘Mer­maid Tree’, one of the few places where you can see the King’s voy­age of dis­cov­ery along the coast, before cruis­ing out towards the beau­ti­ful York Sound. Catch the ris­ing tide into the Hunter Riv­er, anchor­ing in a stun­ning lit­tle loca­tion called Poro­sus creek. An after­noon of mud crab­bing awaits. Day 8: Big­gie Island Spend the morn­ing explor­ing the beau­ti­ful Bigge Island. A large bro­ken sand­stone island, Bigge island is home to abun­dance of wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for the lit­tle rock wal­la­by, tur­tle nests and croc­o­dile tracks. There is also an oppor­tu­ni­ty to view some amaz­ing rock art with both Wand­ji­na and Brad­shaw on dis­play with a mar­itime theme. Pelag­ic fish­ing and Explor­ing of the Prud­hoe islands to the north in the after­noon, and din­ner in a love­ly seclud­ed anchor­age. Day 9: Big­gie Island to Winyalkin Island Spend the low tide col­lect­ing the deli­cious Kim­ber­ley Black Lip Oys­ter, before wet­ting a line to try your hand at land­ing a decent pelag­ic. Enjoy lunch with friends and crew as you cruise to Winyalkin Island to view some more of the amaz­ing Rock Art that’s on offer in the bay — with Gwion Gwion and Wand­ji­na styles both avail­able. Day 10: Winyalkin Island to Swift Bay Those eager to explore Winyalkin Island fur­ther, can enjoy a morn­ing ashore, before cruis­ing out to Swift Bay and the home of some most spec­tac­u­lar and diverse rock art avail­able. Sun­set on a remote beach to reflect on the adven­ture and to enjoy your last evening indulging in your con­quests pre­pared by your onboard chef. Day 11: Swift Bay Changeover Dis­em­bark Kim­ber­ley Pearl to board your com­pli­men­ta­ry scenic flight trans­fer to Kununur­ra. Times will be depen­dent on tides, Kim­ber­ley Pearl Char­ters would rec­om­mend evening flight depar­tures from Broome if wish­ing to return same day of dis­em­barka­tion, to allow for any delays.

Sam­ple 13 Night Itin­er­ary: Day 1: Board­ing Our com­pli­men­ta­ry trans­fer will pick you up from your Kununur­ra accom­mo­da­tion and trav­el to Wyn­d­ham to board the Kim­ber­ley Pearl. From here we cruise towards King George Riv­er, whilst you enjoy the sun­set and a delight­ful din­ner cooked by your on board chef on your first evening on board the Kim­ber­ley Pearl. Day 2: King George Riv­er Once tide is high enough at the mouth of the King George, we cross the sand bar for an incred­i­ble cruise upstream towards the jew­el of the Riv­er — The King George Falls. Jump in one of the ten­ders to explore the riv­er ways and take in the nature up close or a walk at Tran­quil Bay. Relax after a long day and learn the his­to­ry of the ship wreck Koola­ma as we cruise back to the mouth of King George. Day 3: Koola­ma Bay to Jar Island Its an ear­ly start as we depart the Koola­ma Bay cruis­ing to the most norther­ly point of Aus­tralia, Cape Lon­don­erry to view and enjoy the Gly­cos­mis Falls. Explore the DCS3 plane wreck and nature spot­ting in the Eclipse Arch­i­pel­ago as we cruise onwards towards Jar Island. Day 4: Jar Island to Mitchell Riv­er On the fourth morn­ing we head towards the Mitchell Riv­er. Spend the after­noon fish­ing for the famous Kim­ber­ley Bar­ra or explor­ing the water­ways and find­ing secret water holes and falls. As the sun­sets on your fourth evening enjoy your fresh­ly caught fish cooked by your on board chef. Day 5: Mitchell Riv­er to Bigge Island Spend the morn­ing at leisure before we set off towards Bigge Island and the beau­ti­ful Bona­parte Arch­i­pel­ago. A must see of the Kim­ber­ley Bigge Island is famous for its amaz­ing gal­leries of Abo­rig­i­nal rock art, with some of the images pos­si­bly the old­est known to man. Day 6: Bigge Island to Hunter Riv­er We depart Bigge island and head south towards Hunter Riv­er, the head­wa­ters of the riv­er rise below Donk­ins Hill with two spec­tac­u­lar water­falls to view. Spend the after­noon try­ing your hand at catch­ing some din­ner or explor­ing the unique rock for­ma­tions that sur­round the Riv­er. Enjoy your sixth evening with a drink in hand as the sun sets over the Hunter Riv­er. Day 7: Hunter Riv­er to Careen­ing Bay (Mer­maid Tree) There is time for some more ear­ly morn­ing fish­ing before we cruise towards Careen­ing Bay. Here you can jump on a ten­der and enjoy a land excur­sion which will take you to the Nation­al Her­itage list­ed Mer­maid Tree, or you can just relax and enjoy a good book whilst we set­tle in a Bay for your sev­enth evening. Day 8: Careen­ing Bay to Prince Regent Riv­er It’s an ear­ly start to cruise into St George Bason, enjoy­ing a scenic ride up the Price Regent Riv­er. Enjoy the day explor­ing the upper reach­es of the riv­er, per­haps climb up Kings Cas­cade Water­fall into the back waters of Cas­cade Creek, or try your hand at catch­ing some mud crabs in one of the trib­u­taries of the Prince Regent Riv­er. End the day relax­ing with a drink in hand and enjoy­ing those fresh­ly caught mud crabs. Day 9: Prince Regent Riv­er to Hall Point Area With an ear­ly depar­ture on the out­go­ing tide we cruise through Came­don Sound, a beau­ti­ful marine park where hump­back whales are often spot­ted nur­tur­ing their calves, south towards Hall Point Area to enjoy some after­noon beach comb­ing & oys­ter hunt. Enjoy your ninth evening on a seclud­ed beach with a bon­fire! Day 10: Hall Point Area to Mont­gomery Reef & King­fish­er Islands We con­tin­ue cruis­ing south to Mont­gomery Reef and onto King­fish­er Islands. Rel­ish in the iso­la­tion of the mag­nif­i­cent Mont­gomery Islands as we cruise over the top of the tide watch­ing the reef as the tide ebbs away and expos­es itself. Tru­ly incred­i­ble nat­ur­al view­ing! Day 11: King­fish­er Islands to Tal­bot Bay Depart­ing the King­fish­er Islands we cruise into Tal­bot Bay for the day. Expe­ri­ence the Hor­i­zon­tal Falls and spend the after­noon wildlife spot­ting or some blue water fish­ing whilst explor­ing the creeks of Tal­bot Bay. Bask in the seren­i­ty of the bay with a drink in hand as the sun­sets on your sec­ond last evening. Day 12: Tal­bot Bay Awake in the beau­ti­ful Tal­bot bay and pre­pare to wit­ness a very unique phe­nom­e­non. The hor­i­zon­tal falls ride, fol­lowed by a very infor­ma­tive and inter­est­ing cruise into cyclone creek, and a look at our local ​“pets” on the way. Enjoy the seren­i­ty of the sur­round­ing Bay as the sun­sets on your sec­ond last evening. Depart­ing on the tide for the Buc­ca­neer Arch­i­pel­ago. Day 13: Yampi Sound Head out ear­ly for a try at a pelag­ic fish, as we Jump in a ten­ders to explore the Buc­ca­neer Arch­i­pel­ago. Back on board for a lunch cruise out into the islands. Maybe a low tide expe­di­tion look­ing for the Black lipped Oys­ter, then cruise out into Yampi for the last time. Tide depen­dant, we will aim to find a love­ly beach to enjoy an oys­ter or two and a drink as the sun sets on our final day. Depart­ing on the evening tide, we con­tin­ue on into King Sound. Day 14: Cygnet Bay Awake as we lift anchor, and enjoy a break­fast cruise into Cygnet Bay. Cof­fee and sto­ries on the bow, as the ten­ders pre­pare to take you ashore. Our air-con­di­tioned bus awaits to trans­fer you to Broome. Day 2: Myri­di Bay to Dugong Bay Spend the day explor­ing Croc­o­dile Creek, enjoy a fresh­wa­ter swim and some Blue­wa­ter fish­ing before an after­noon depar­ture to cruise across Yampi Sound, past Koolan Island then into Dugong Bay as the sun­sets on your sec­ond evening. Day 3: Dugong Bay Enjoy the morn­ing explor­ing Dugong Bay, one of the most pris­tine and spec­tac­u­lar parts of the Kim­ber­ley Coast­line, fish­ing in creeks hid­den in the man­groves and explor­ing the rocky head­lands of the Bay. In the after­noon depart Dugong Bay and cruise to White Bel­ly Creek, enjoy­ing your fresh­ly caught fish for din­ner as the sun goes down on your third evening. Day 4: White Bel­ly Creek to Mont­gomery Reef Take in the beau­ti­ful scenery and bird life found along White Bel­ly Creek whilst try­ing your hand at catch­ing some mud crabs for din­ner. Con­tin­ue cruis­ing down to Mont­gomery Reef over the top of the tide and watch­ing the reef as the tide ebbs away and expos­es itself. Tru­ly mem­o­rable nat­ur­al view­ing! Enjoy your cooked mud crabs as the sun­sets on your fourth evening and you cruise to anchor in Doubt­ful Bay overnight. Day 5: Doubt­ful Bay to Eagle Point Get in some ear­ly morn­ing Bar­ra fish­ing before cruis­ing out to Raft Point and con­tin­ue down towards Eagle Point to enjoy your fifth night anchored in this seclud­ed area and din­ing on fresh­ly caught Bar­ra. Day 6: Eagle Point to Tal­bot Bay (Hor­i­zon­tal Falls) It???s an ear­ly start as we cruise down Col­lier Bay, through the Won­in­ja­ba Islands and into Tal­bot Bay. Spend the after­noon expe­ri­enc­ing the Hor­i­zon­tal Falls or look­ing for wildlife and explor­ing Tal­bot Bay. Enjoy the seren­i­ty of the sur­round­ing Bay as the sun­sets on your sec­ond last evening. Day 7 Tal­bot Bay to Yampi Sound & Cone Bay There is still time to expe­ri­ence the Hor­i­zon­tal Falls before depart­ing on the out­go­ing tide towards Yampi Sound. Jump on a ten­der to explore the Buc­ca­neer Arch­i­pel­ago, a clus­ter of four islands found here, or spend your after­noon catch­ing din­ner for your last evening on board the Kim­ber­ley Pearl. Con­tin­ue cruis­ing towards Cone Bay and savour the final Kim­ber­ley sun­set and din­ner delights served by your on board chef. Day 8: Cone Bay to Cygnet Bay Cruise back to pas­sen­ger drop off point to dis­em­bark the Kim­ber­ley Pearl and catch your con­nect­ing coach trans­fer back to Broome.
