Wanim continues Tura's 25-year legacy of developing enduring artistic relationships across the Kimberley, building on long-standing collaborations with Chase's grandfather, Red Ochre Award recipient Stephen Pigram, and Bart's father, Danny Marr of Fitzroy Xpress. Honouring these enduring relationships while creating bold new artistic pathways, Wanim is richly grounded in Kimberley Country while reaching beyond musical boundaries. It is a powerful expression of culture through sound that celebrates the Kimberley as a vital centre of contemporary Australian music.

The Wanim Tour has been supported by the Western Australian Government through the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries’ Playing WA program and by the Australian Government through Creative Australia, its principal arts investment and advisory body.
