KAFTA FASHION FAIR will be held at Sun Pictures in Chinatown on Monday 1 June 2026, 9am - 1pm. This is a vibrant marketplace celebrating Kimberley creativity, culture, and enterprise. All proceeds go directly back to the designer, artist or business. More details to come. This event is free to attend.

The Staircase to the Moon is a natural phenomenon observed in Broome Western Australia between April and October only. It is caused by the rising of a full moon reflecting on the exposed mudflats at extremely low tide creating a beautiful optical illusion of a staircase reaching up to the moon.

Come along to life drawing session at Kimberley Arts Network. KAN's regular Life Drawing sessions are open to everyone. Whether you're a practicing artist, or someone who just wants to improve your observational and sketching skills... KAN offers a welcoming and creative space for everyone. Basic materials are supplied, but you are welcome to bring your own materials. Wednesday from 5.30pm - 7.30pm. $25 a session or purchase five for $100*.
