With 28 years of writing behind him, Brett brings a sound that's hard to pin down and impossible to forget - folk, reggae, gypsy grooves, and a voice with that unmistakable Dylanesque edge. He writes from a converted dairy on Cave's Road, surfs when he's not strumming, and fronts the gypsy ska band Freeway South when the mood strikes.
