Dash & Splash is back at Broome Recreation and Aquatic Centre, at 4.30pm on Friday 5 June 2026, bringing together running and swimming in a fun, inclusive and community-focused event that’s all about participation and having a go. Designed for all ages and fitness levels, Dash & Splash encourages everyone to get active in a relaxed and supportive environment. Competitors can choose to take part in a short-course or long-course event. The short course is a 2km run with a 200m swim, while the long course is a 4km run with 400m swim. Take part in the series and see if you can beat everyone or do one even to just to give it a go! Bring your friends or family and join one of Broome’s most popular and welcoming fitness events. Broome Girls Gone Fishing Challenge is held from 6-7th June 2026 | Register by 29 May. Broome’s only women’s fishing competition. 2 days fishing targeting a number of species. Fishing begins at 0600 Saturday and lines out 1400 Sunday. Score cards must be handed in no later than 1600 Sunday. Presentation will commence as close to 6pm as possible. Learn more here. A free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate – it's up to you! Town Beach parkrun is a FREE weekly 5k event for participants of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 7:00am in Town Beach precinct.90 Robinson St, Broome, WA 6725.
