Chase the Ace is back again this Friday at the Broome RSL! The 2026 the Kimberley Open Studios Trail opens the doors to dozens of authentic Kimberley artist spaces, Indigenous art centres and other makers and creators. Between Saturday 27th June to Friday 4th July, art studios between Ardyaloon on the Dampier Peninsula to Wyndham in the East Kimberley will open to visitors. There are exhibition launches, and other activities including accessible art activities delivered by artists; Bird illustration workshops, glass cutting demonstrations, macrame demonstrations, stencil making workshops and more! This in-depth two-day workshop is designed for participants with watercolour painting experience who are ready to take their bird illustration skills further.
