Chase the Ace is back again this Friday at the Broome RSL! To enter, simply purchase a beer, wine or spirited beverage and you'll be issued with a ticket (only issued between 4:30pm and 6:30pm, t&cs apply), drawn just after 7pm (along with Members draw and the $100’s club). T&Cs apply for Chase the Ace. Members must be present to win the Member’s Draw. Guests and Non-members welcome!! Kitchen open from 5.30pm. We are family friendly. Guests and visitors welcome. The 2026 the Kimberley Open Studios Trail opens the doors to dozens of authentic Kimberley artist spaces, Indigenous art centres and other makers and creators. Between Saturday 27th June to Friday 4th July, art studios between Ardyaloon on the Dampier Peninsula to Wyndham in the East Kimberley will open to visitors. There are exhibition launches, and other activities including accessible art activities delivered by artists; Bird illustration workshops, glass cutting demonstrations, macrame demonstrations, stencil making workshops and more!Tjarrambayi Arts for use of this gorgeous image. This in-depth two-day workshop is designed for participants with watercolour painting experience who are ready to take their bird illustration skills further. Led by award-winning natural history illustrator Peter Marsack, the workshop combines practical technique with a deeper understanding of bird structure, light and environment using gouache paints.

Come along to life drawing session at Kimberley Arts Network. KAN's regular Life Drawing sessions are open to everyone. Whether you're a practicing artist, or someone who just wants to improve your observational and sketching skills... KAN offers a welcoming and creative space for everyone. Basic materials are supplied, but you are welcome to bring your own materials. Wednesday from 5.30pm - 7.30pm. $25 a session or purchase five for $100*. You can drop in for one session, or buy five sessions at a discounted price.
