Chase the Ace is back again this Friday at the Broome RSL! To enter, simply purchase a beer, wine or spirited beverage and you'll be issued with a ticket (only issued between 4:30pm and 6:30pm, t&cs apply), drawn just after 7pm (along with Members draw and the $100’s club). Broome Girls Gone Fishing Challenge is held from 6-7th June 2026 | Register by 29 May. Broome’s only women’s fishing competition. 2 days fishing targeting a number of species. Fishing begins at 0600 Saturday and lines out 1400 Sunday. Score cards must be handed in no later than 1600 Sunday. Presentation will commence as close to 6pm as possible. Learn more here. CircuitWest and Ngaliju present a Playing WA Tour of Piyalbajarri: Yarns and Songs — an unforgettable evening of stories and songs shared by 92‑year‑old Thiinma Elder, stockman and songwriter Peter Salmon, with long‑time collaborator Rosie Sitorus. Performed in Thiinma and English, Piyalbajarri offers the rare chance to hear a critically endangered language spoken by its only living speaker, alongside original music from the acclaimed project Warralgurniya (‘singing’).
