Broome's favourite late night shopping event! We are thrilled to inform you that the highly anticipated "Chinatown Ladies’ Night" late night shopping extravaganza is set to take place on the evening of Friday 16th August 2024!

Organised by the Broome Chamber of Commerce & Industry (Inc) and the Shire of Broome, this year's event promises to be a remarkable shopping experience. Chinatown traders will host exciting activities in their shops on this evening to form a program of events that people can attend between 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM.

Champagne and canapes, cocktails/mocktails, mini-manicure/pedicure stations, hair/makeup demonstrations, fashion parade, product giveaways, in-store discounts, pearl harvest, art & craft demonstrations, dining promotions, pop up market stalls, live music and lots more!

Join us in a night of song, dance, food and music as we celebrate the storytellers who have paved the way for us. If you’re a Broome local or just visiting town, come down to A Taste of Broome and start off the Shinju Matsuri Festival right.

A free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate – it's up to you!

The Broome Courthouse Markets are held in the beautiful heritage listed gardens of the Broome Courthouse. Started over 25 years ago by a small group of locals wishing to trade local product, they have grown to become a major tourist attraction in Broome and host up to 115 creative stalls over the dry season. Trading every Saturday all year and Sundays (between May – October only), the local markets attracts visitors from far and wide.
