Join us at Black Stump Gallery in Broome to view Jeanette Dyson’s latest collection 'Painted Earth'. Exhibition Soiree will be held on Sunday 30th August from 12pm-2pm. ***OPENING FROM 12PM ON FRIDAYS*** Broome RSL will be opening its doors on a Friday from 12pm with a Tradies lunch special on offer of Tradies Lunch for $25 (available between 12pm and 2pm). Non-members welcome. Sign in at the bar. Choose either: 1/ Fish, Fries & Frothy 2/ ANZAC Burger, Fries & Frothy. 3/ Crumbed Chicken Burger, Fries & Frothy (note: excludes Guiness). Chase the Ace is back again this Friday at the Broome RSL! To enter, simply purchase a beer, wine or spirited beverage and you'll be issued with a ticket (only issued between 4:30pm and 6:30pm, t&cs apply), drawn just after 7pm (along with Members draw and the $100’s club). A free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate – it's up to you! Town Beach parkrun is a FREE weekly 5k event for participants of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 7:00am in Town Beach precinct.90 Robinson St, Broome, WA 6725.

A festival favourite, the Shinju Matsuri Dragon Boat Races bring the ancient Chinese tradition of dragon boating to the turquoise waters of Broome’s Town Beach. With origins dating back more than 2,000 years, dragon boat racing began as a cultural ceremony in China to honour ancestors, celebrate community, and mark the changing of the seasons. Today, it is recognised worldwide as both a sport and a vibrant cultural celebration. Saturday 29th August from 8am - 2pm at Town Beach.

The Broome Courthouse Markets are held in the beautiful heritage listed gardens of the Broome Courthouse. Trading every Saturday all year, and Sundays during high season. The Broome Courthouse Markets are located on the corner of Frederick and Hamersley Street.
