On Tuesday, 18th August at 11.30am, the Broome Sub-Branch will be holding a service to commemorate Vietnam Veterans’ Day 2026 and the 60th Anniversary of The Battle of Long Tan, being held at Bedford Park, Broome. We would love as many veterans and service personnel, family and friends, and the general public, to attend if able. The Club will then be open for fellowship and light refreshments after the service to conclude around 2pm. Please contact the President or Secretary if you have any questions. Aliwah Bardinar! | A Magical Theatre Adventure for the Whole Family. Looking for a fun family activity during August? Join us at the Broome Civic Centre for Aliwah Bardinar!, a colourful new theatre production from acclaimed Noongar artists Gina Williams-Ghouse and the late Guy Ghouse. This delightful 45-minute performance combines music, storytelling, puppetry, dance and colourful costumes to tell the Noongar creation story of how the Bardinar (Western Rosella) gained its beautiful colours. Along the way, audiences meet a host of charming animal characters while experiencing the beauty of Noongar language and culture.
