Broome SKATE Youth Week
Monday 8th April to Friday 12th April.
A five day festival of skateboarding, BMX and scootering at the Broome Skatepark. All events are FREE and all are welcome. Some events to require you to register for tickets.

Visit Streeter's Jetty and take a walk around Chinatown
Streeter's Jetty is an iconic Broome location and it is great to visit at different times to see the difference the local tides make. When the tide is out, you can see the mudflats, and then compare it again at high tide to see the beautiful waters of Roebuck Bay contrast with the mangroves and nearby scenery. Take in the views of the buildings around Chinatown to appreciate the history of this location.
Play at the Town Beach Playground and Water Park
The kids will love the fun water park at Town Beach for cooling off after a play on the beautiful new playground. Normal opening hours for the Town Beach Water Park in Broome are weekdays (closed Tuesdays) 8.30am to 5.00pm.

Broome Historical Museum
Regarded as one of the best regional museums in Australia, the Broome Historical Museum is governed by a dedicated volunteer group who devote their time to keeping the museum open 7 days a week. If you're wondering what to do with the kids during the school holidays, our museum offers a fun and educational experience. From treasure hunts to interactive displays, your children will learn all about the history of Broome while being entertained.
Kids u/16 get FREE entry when accompanied by an adult.

Fusion Moonrise - Shire of Broome
Wednesday 27th March 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Celebrate the full moon as it rises above Chinatown and sits spectacularly atop the Fusion Artwork!
This only happens twice a year, so feel free to head down and take some photos and enjoy Broome’s town centre.
The Fusion sculpture was installed as part of the Chinatown Revitalisation Project, which was co-funded by the Shire of Broome and State Government.

Staircase to the Moon
Monday 25th March, Tuesday 26th March, Wednesday 27th March and Thursday 28th March.
Head down to Town Beach early to enjoy this amazing celestial vision as it appears over Roebuck Bay. Visibility will depend on local weather and conditions.
Staircase to the Moon is a natural phenomenon which occurs when a full moon rises over the exposed tidal flats of Roebuck Bay. The Town Beach precinct is a great vantage spot to view the Staircase to the Moon. Another popular spot is The Mangrove Hotel Resort, who often have live entertainment on Staircase nights. Other local spots include the Broome Golf Club, the Roebuck Bay lookout and also a short walk across the road from Matso's Broome. Cygnet Bay, north of Broome, also offers Staircase viewing locations.

Easter Feast at Matso's Broome
