Broome Fringe Festival 2025
The 2025 Broome Fringe Festival kicks off the busy dry season when the easterly winds and clear blue skies signify the arrival of Barrgana season in the Yawuru calendar. Broome comes alive in the dry season and the Fringe Festival hosts a diverse range of exhibitions, performances, an open studio Art Trail and other activities that invite you to get involved with our vibrant creative community.

The Festival Fiesta - Broome Fringe Festival Launch
Friday 23rd May from 6pm at the Kimberley Arts Network (KAN) Shed.
This is going to be a fantastic Arts sector spectacular! And YOU are key to the event; this is not a sit-down experience! We will have stalls, activities, music, performances, refreshments, food and fun! KAN's partners and collaborators are here, and you're invited to participate - add an artwork, get a divination, scare the crows away from our community garden! And dance!

Sailmaker's Shed at the Broome Historical Museum, Robinson St, Broome
When you visit the old Sailmakers Shed over the long weekend, you'll be immersed in the DRY SEASON!Each artwork represents an element of the dry season, contributing to a holistic experience of the busiest and most joyous time of the year. The women of the Djarindjin/Lombadina Women's Centre are making turtles with fabulous shell collections.
