Registration from 6.30pm, we've got 16 spots available so make sure you're here early to get one before they are all allocated. Entry is only $10 which gets you in the comp PLUS a FREE SCHOONER! The Thursday Night Markets are held at the Town Beach Precinct on Hamersley Street. KAN showcases the best of our grassroots creative community through the Kimberley Open Studios Trail and The Broome Fringe Festival. When the Easterly winds and clear blue skies of Barrgana (Yawuru – the dry season) arrive, and the Kimberley comes alive.

This in-depth two-day workshop is designed for participants with watercolour painting experience who are ready to take their bird illustration skills further. Led by award-winning natural history illustrator Peter Marsack, the workshop combines practical technique with a deeper understanding of bird structure, light and environment using gouache paints.

The Staircase to the Moon is a natural phenomenon observed in Broome Western Australia between April and October only. It is caused by the rising of a full moon reflecting on the exposed mudflats at extremely low tide creating a beautiful optical illusion of a staircase reaching up to the moon.
