Broome Historical Museum open all Easter weekend!
Head over to the Broome Historical Museum to learn about our local history through fantastic displays, interesting items as well as activities to keep the kids amused. OPEN: Good Friday 10am-1pm, Easter Saturday & Sunday 10am-4pm and Easter Monday 10am-1pm. Books, mugs, hats, bags and pearl shells are also available to buy.
April Events at the Broome Markets - various dates
Broome Markets are hosting various market events across April 2026 with live entertainment and fun for the kids! Please note the Easter/Staircase to the Moon Night market will be held on Sunday 5th April from 4pm-8pm at Town Beach. There are no markets on Monday 6th April.

Fusion Moonrise - Thursday 2nd April
Come along on Thursday 2nd April 2026 to experience one of Broome’s most magical natural events at the Fusion Moonrise. As the full moon rises over Napier Terrace, it aligns perfectly with the iconic Fusion sculpture located at the Carnarvon Street roundabout in Chinatown — creating a breathtaking visual that draws photographers, locals and visitors alike. The Staircase to the Moon is then happening on Friday 3rd, Sat 4th and Sunday 5th April!
