Come celebrate the book launch of 'Going Fishing With Nana' by Frances Haji-Ali & Lindsay Haji-Ali, illustrated by Karen Briggs! Sunday 15 February 9.30am at Magabala Books, Broome.
This beautifully illustrated children’s picture book takes readers on an exciting fishing trip with Nana in the far north of Australia. Through repetition and rhyme, readers are introduced to early education concepts such as ordinal numbers, counting by twos, and adjectives, all while seeing many cute and cheeky outback animals along the way.

BBQ Sundays, back from Sunday 11 January at lunch time (available between 12:30 and 2:30pm). For just $15 p/p, you'll receive a meat pack containing 2 snags and 1 piece of steak, and side salad/s will be available along with the usual condiments. Simply pay at the bar, receive your meat pack and cook at your leisure on our outdoor BBQ. Cook your own BBQ at the Broome RSL is a great way to create a fun and relaxed atmosphere where our members, family and friends, and visitors can socialise and connect whilst cooking and eating together.
